The letter
Dear friend,
The story goes that in 1919 Count Camillo Negroni, a regular at a café in Florence, asked his bartender to make his Americano a little stronger. Gin took the place of the soda water, an orange peel replaced the lemon, and a classic was born.
A century later it is still poured the same way: three equal parts, stirred, never shaken. Bitter, sweet and quietly strong, it is the perfect first drink for a club like ours.
